PROJECT N°01 — 2026 — CURRENT · SCRIPTURE / MATERIAL STUDY / FILM
Ἡ Πανοπλία τοῦ Θεοῦ
HĒ PANOPLIA TOU THEOU · THE ARMOR OF GOD
A live study of the whole armor of God—moving from language and material history into image, movement, sound, and film.
THE RECORD · AUDIT TRAIL OF THE WORK
BEING BUILT.
This is not a retrospective. Questions, evidence, tests, failures, and decisions enter the record while the project is still becoming.
PRODUCTION TIMELINE
Sequence of record.
Entries are added in order and never rewritten. Closed work stays closed; open work stays visibly open.

Eleven verse notes written; each states what the Greek carries that the English cannot, and where the reading remains unresolved.

MATERIAL DOSSIER OPENED
Seven Greek expressions set against dated museum records, with a standing list of the claims this project refuses to make. Four lexical glosses were corrected: no Latin equipment name is carried where the Greek gives none.

What is the whole armor?
The first task is to resist the flattened inventory. Πανοπλία names complete equipment; the project begins by asking what becomes visible when the phrase is restored to language, body, and collective practice.

God wears the armor first.
Ephesians 6 is being read beside Isaiah 59, where the Lord puts on righteousness as a breastplate and salvation as a helmet. The citation changes the image before any object is designed.
The reading of 6:10–20 carries a word-by-word Greek register: form, gloss, working note, and a cited lexical source for each entry. Page-level citations are still being added, and that gap is stated in the panel itself.
The material register now sets seven expressions in the Greek against dated objects in museum collections, with every date gap printed on the record. Construction, weight, movement, and failure are studied before any image is made.
